Mocha smoothie

Turn your cold‑brew coffee into a frosty, chocolate‑kissed treat that delivers a solid protein punch without watering down the flavor. Frozen coffee cubes keep the drink cool while preserving that bold mocha kick, and a blend of Greek yogurt, dates, and flaxseed adds creaminess, natural sweetness, and extra nutrition.

Cold Brew Mocha Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ cups (≈320 g) cold‑brew coffee, frozen into cubes
  • 1 cup (≈244 g) 2 % milk of your choice
  • ½ cup (≈113 g) plain 0 % Greek yogurt
  • 2 large Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1 scoop chocolate‑flavored protein powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • ½ tsp pure vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Spread the cold‑brew coffee into an ice‑cube tray and freeze for about four hours, or until solid.
  2. In a blender, combine milk, Greek yogurt, dates, protein powder, cocoa powder, ground flaxseed, and vanilla. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Drop the coffee cubes into the blender and process again until the texture is creamy and evenly blended. If the smoothie is too thick, drizzle in a little more milk and give it another quick whirl.
  4. Divide the drink between two glasses and serve immediately for the best chilled experience.
